Goreme village makes its living from agriculture and tourism. It is located in the middle of the national park, at one end of the Valley of the Pigeons. In the village, ancient or recent houses can be found along with earth pillars that are still used as houses, warehouses or stables. The natural charm of this village is becoming more and more disguised by the boardings, signs and shops which are springing up to attract tourists. Nomad Cave Hotel is located in the charming village and is 5 minutes from bus station. The hotel has got 12 cave rooms, simple but clean cave rooms. Nice terrace for breakfast and big smiling staff.
